Parents vs. Referee

Going back in time. I just watched my nephews basketball game. How fun!! I was sent back in time. Being in the stands reminded me of myself playing basketball and having my mom in the stands screaming at the refs. I seem to remember the dads sitting in one area and the moms sitting in another because the dads were embarrassed to sit next to such screamers! It was great. Now, I can see I am becoming like my mom. However, having played the game I hope to have a better appreciation for refs. But then again... refs aren't always right, MOMS are!!!

Anyway, my nephew Dawson played great. It's nice to see him out there playing sports!!

Keeping up is hard to do...

Well, it happened. I lost my dedicated time to update my blog. I knew it would happen, just didn't think so quickly! Oh-well.
We've been keeping busy. Isaac's soccer is almost done. Last game is Monday! It's been pretty funny, we've had a very weird team this year. 3 out of 5 of the kiddos were dedicated, which made the games a little tough for the 3. Yes, Isaac is one of the 3, but when you don't have team mates to sub out for you when you want a break it gets pretty tough. He did well though. Scored the most goals and learned to not pick the ball up with his hands!! "NO HANDS" is often yelled out at practice! The coach even said his only goal was to teach them "No Hands". I think he was successful.
I thought things would slow down, but Isaac wants to know what's next after Soccer. Man he's busy.
Trenton is potty training, talk about keeping busy!

Well, I have three boys that are needing my attention. Better go.

Summer Soccer

This summer Isaac is playing soccer with North Willamette Valley Soccer. It's so much fun. He's having so much fun playing. It's 3 on 3, so there's lots of action and lots of play time. Isaac is a natural. He's a great forward, runs hard and goes straight for the goal. Last game he scored at least 3 times! Go Isaac!

His team is great. We have all sorts out there on the field, it's great to watch.

Summer Fun

This afternoon, I've been laying in the sun watching Isaac and his friends play slip-n-slide! What a great way to spend the afternoon....listening to lots of laughter and watching Trenton try and do everything the big kids do! Including drying himself off with a towel... he's such a cutie.
Right now, I'm just sitting at my table on the deck while the girls (Abby, Haley, Hannah) chase Isaac around, oh they're back to the slip-n-slide.

New to the world of Blogging!!
